Been to busy to take it apart. I still have a Spyderco I need to disassemble before the OTF. Not sure if/when I will get around to it.

If i where in your situation i would probably want to have a refund and stay away from the schrade OTF.

I understand, but seen like the general attitude of all the reply are rather get a refund instead of trying to get the knife working properly (Repair or replace).

I think that was more because of my experience with the actual seller not the knife.

Well yes some hate the company. In all honesty I would never buy a Schrade with the exception of the OTF. I don't have any hate towards the company, but I just don't have any reason to like them and from some buisness decisions they made kind of rubs me the wrong way.

Who cares though. If you like Schrade then awesome! Doesn't matter what others think.
