I loved Alan Rickman, and I will greatly miss him and his movies.  I just had a Harry Potter marathon a week or two ago, and he was perfect in that, and pretty much every role he was in.

He was one of those actors that both stood out and blended in.  He was perfect for so many roles because of it. You could so easily hate him or love him, but you never mistook him for anyone else, no matter how well he played the part.

I'll always remember him as the hateful land owner in the Tom Selleck movie Quigley Down Under.

Now I'm definitely going to watch Galaxy Quest again, soon. It's a terrible movie in many ways but still one if my favorites.

I would love to see another Galaxy Quest, and I wish he was there to star in it, but I think I'd still like to see the movie made.  Yes he was an integral party of the cast and I don't want to see someone else in his position, but maybe had a nod to him in the film like "Jason hasn't been the same since Alexander hasn't been around to keep him in line" or something.

And yes, I can't recall half the names of most people on Walking Dead (or any other show) but I remember the names of the Protector's crew.   :pok:
