Not only to secure bikes but anything with hex bolts.

Only concern is the 3-digit code, only allows for 1000 combinations...

This is the first Kickstarter I've ever seen that I was actually impressed with the design. It is a simple and elegant solution to a very common problem, and it looks like it works well.

As to the 1000 different combinations... That's 1000 different keys, and I doubt that it will be very easy to replicate the key from just those digits.

I've been thinking about this, as they themselves note it isn't very often you have to change a bike if you do it properly the first time. Wouldn't some thread-locker make it just that much more effort to steal them that a potential thief might go on to the next bike (assuming that yours isn't all carbon fibre and titanium but rather a fairly everyday bike)?

Other than that it looks good but I would want to know how it works. Since they mention that the bolts need to be magnetic I would assume the key to be just a very elaborate hook to pull a neodymium magnet out meaning another hook might work as a master key for it. Still, it will probably make a thief move on to the next bike especially until they become common.
