I never had one. I've always doubted that it could actually be a usable tool considering the width of the SAK. Do you actually use it on a regular basis or is this more a symbolic model for you ?

I love SwissChamps. Around 1980-something I had a fake one I bought out of Boys Life magazine once I had earned my Totin' Chip in Cub Scouts.  But I dared not dream that one day I could own the real thing. I've had 2 real ones. One was a USA flag one I bought for parts. Technically I still have it, fully disassembled. I'll probably make a Deluxe Explorer out of it.

This is my main one, I got it for $39 new in the package, one of those plastic bubble packages, not a gift box. Package is marked 2007. It has an older style metal file, long phillips/gray mag and it has the hook on back.  One of my favorites.  It mainly stays on my desk but does get used all the time for repairs. I have one of these cases for it:

https://www.rei.com/product/409212/rainbow-of-california-swiss-army-knife-case

It fits a Champ very snugly, but it does fit. I trust it not to fall out during adventure type activities. Can be worn horizontal or vertical.

Looking at the Cybertool 41/L as an alternative to the Swisschamp (not that I need an alternative, but I DO need to collect more SAKs)

Putting this here before I forget. I missed last Sunday. For once I wasn't working this Sunday so this was my EDC around town school shopping for my son.
