My new MudPuppy

I won this last May and just got it (I'm cursed with long delays it seems :pok: )
It is the ScrapYard MudPuppy

Overall Length: 8 1/4"
Blade Length: 3 1/4"
Blade Thickness: 3/16"
Steel: 154 CM
Hardness: 58-60 Rc
Finish: Satin
Handle: Resiprene C "Mudder Grip"

I really think this will be an excellent EDC. I just need to put a nice "ouchie" edge on it :o

What!, after that long wait they didn't even sharpen it for you :o, or maybe I'm expecting too much of a freebie :D

It's still a bloody fine knife though mate :)

no they never really sharpen their edges great, which is fine for me, I like doing it myself.
I personally don't think they (makers) should, it's a personal/safety thing.

if a mall ninja doesn't get a shaving sharp knife, more the better!

it's a shape I've wanted for that size of blade for a long time.
and the mudder handles!! they fit perfect in any size paws,
plus they are comfortably secure.

Resiprene C.....never heard of it. :think:   So is the handle really squishy or is it really grippy, or both?

Some call it res-c too but it's pretty firm like rubber, but nice n grippy. it is warranted for life and only once have I heard about it getting damaged (squirrel ate it!)

what's great about it is that design/style, it feels great in your hand, you've got to hold it to really appreciate it, otherwise it is weird looking.

now I'm a big fan of Orange for tools, visibility, signaling, and I just like it.
well my buddy the great sheath maker just sent me these Kydex pants for my MP;

a Rainwalker creation, I luv it! ;)

lol it really is nice, it is set up for Tek Loc or a kydex belt loop or even a piggy-back on another sheath
(all of which I have already) but for now I'll leave it as is for pocket carry.

Looks like a real prise WD,and the price is right (except for the wait).Should be a nice worker knife,great steel and blade lenth,and that handle looks like it will take a licken,and keep on tic-en. :salute:
