Who owns the Swisschamp?!

I've been following all the threads carefully and discovered something interesting.

There are 5 forum members. Each of them has a different Victorinox. These 5 forum members all prefer a certain type of scale material, have a certain brand of folder, and own a Leatherman. None of them have the same Leatherman, own the same brand of folder, prefer the same type of scales or own the same model of SAK. Other facts:

1. derekmac owns a Style PS.
2. SteveC owns a Classic.
3. SAK Guy has an Opinel.
4. The person who owns the Juice is on the immediate left of the person who owns a Micra.
5. The person who has the Juice also has a Kershaw.
6. The person who prefers G10 handles has na Executive.
7. The person who owns the Skeletool prefers wood handles.
8. The person in the center has a Douk-Douk.
9. magentus is the first one (or he'd cry his eyes out).
10. The person who prefers Alox is next to the one who has a Spartan.
11. The person who has the Rambler is next to the one who prefers wooden scales.
12. The person who prefers Celidor scales owns a Spyderco.
13. zoidberg prefers scales in Titanium.
14. magentus is next to the person who owns the Wave.
15. The person who prefers Alox scales is next to the one who owns a Buck.

What I want to know is...

WHO OWNS THE SWISSCHAMP?!

This looks like fun PFR

I should be doing other things - But I have to have a crack at this?

PS. If you get the answer - How about sending a PM to PFR, and just posting 'Got it below" - So as not to spoil the fun/challenge for everyone else??

You know I have always found crosswords and Suduko and stuff hard enough to do.

But I have no idea how the boffins who create these puzzles make then up.

This puzzle was the same - Very hard - And no idea how PFR managed to construct this.

But I do think I have the answer!!  :tu: :D

And thanks for the puzzle - Now I need to get back to what I was meant to be doing

Well done HM - That was quick! Still struggling here - Definitely no Vulcan heritage in my family. I have a hunch but that's all dammit Jim.

So far, I got 2 PMs with the right answer.

Not only the answer to the question, but the full EDC for everyone.

Can't take credit for this.

The puzzle is often called Einstein's Puzzle or Einstein's Riddle because it is said to have been invented by Albert Einstein as a boy; it is also sometimes attributed to Lewis Carroll. However, there is no known evidence for Einstein's or Carroll's authorship and the Life International version of the puzzle mentions brands of cigarette, such as Kools, that did not exist during Carroll's lifetime or Einstein's boyhood.

It is often claimed that only 2% of the population can solve the puzzle.

So, don't give up and congrats to those who solved it!

I remember doing the Einstein puzzle years ago.  If memory serves, it took about half an hour to map everything out, and despite mixing up two people due to how I read the information - IIRC I read orientation as from the street, not from the house - I did get the correct person.  It was a fun mind puzzle. :)

It's not difficult. For those of you who give up, you now know where to find some help for it. For those of you that keep trying, you'll see it's only a matter of method and elimination. As you go along, things start to unravell pretty quick after a certain point.
