Yikes, this has really reminded me of the importance of drinking water.  :ahhh
I'm so glad you are ok.  :tu: :)
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

It's snagging how simple things like that can have such a huge impact. When you are younger you bounce back quicker, but the more time you put behind you the more obvious they become.

the cool part of the whole fainting thing is it is a corrective measure taken by your body to return the oxygen back to your brain.

dehydration lead to low blood pressure, then my getting up meant the blood did not make it to my brain.  the lack of oxygen caused a faint, which caused a collapse, which then allowed oxygen back to the brain (since I was on the floor)

If I can help, let me know

Hundreds of thousands of years of evolution and/or intelligent design really works.  :D

I have fainted a couple of times in my life.  The first time was when I was 20ish, and I passed out at a job interview.  I was standing in an office and I was trying to hide the fact that I was sick as a dog.  I blacked out for a fraction of a second and woke up on the way down, too late to do anything about it.

I ended up getting the job though, so I guess it's not all bad!  :D

Reminds me of the orthostasis experiment we did at the University. Basically, you tie someone to a stretcher and then change his body position from laying to upright (without the "victim" moving himself)... lots of people fainting... lots of fun :D
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.
