I vote for the Cold Steel Kukri also. Best knife around $20. Ever.If you don't have one, get one. If you have one, try to wreck it. If you ever manage to you'll want to buy another.
Yes well...I can't afford that kinda crap! 1055 Carbon is just as good at chopping and smashing anyway. XD
Testimony!
If you can catch a store release it's around 149.00 plus shipping but I saw one (LE version DF) go for over 400 on ebay! but you can get mine CG version (coating) in the secondary market for around 250 ish.

My criteria would have to include afford-ability. Mora's are pretty tough, and affordable. And since they are so affordable, I bet folks actually use them for things you normally wouldn't want to use your more expensive knives for. I am not taking anything away from the expensive knives, in fact I am quite positive they are very durable. But if I'm going to be really hard on a knife, the possibility is there that I will ruin it. So, if I'm possibly going to ruin it, I don't want to have a lot of money into it.Also, I can buy a couple of Moras and still have enough left over for a proper prybar, hatchet, saw, machete and shovel. Guess my Mora would last a really long time then. Mike
