Everyone has their definition of "razor sharp" it seems.  Could we all agree that actual RAZOR SHARP is pretty fricken sharp no matter what "your" definition is?  When the blade is not slicing thru paper with extreme ease then

I've handled knives from venders where they have told me "be careful this knife is razor sharp"  :twak:.   I've handled sharper PVC pipe .  I've handled marshmallow that were sharper .

I guess as long as it cut what you want cut then it's all good

Although Kwakster sharp is on a whole other level  :hatsoff:

Yeah Kwakster sharp is what I call scary sharp :o :tu:

 Maybe the guy or the paper :D was nervous (because of it being on video) is the reason it didn't slice right through after he "sharpened" it

My earlobes are sharper than that! Thankfully, I had to watch the video on mute so I couldn't hear him talk...

Any ideas as to what MT was he pretending to sharpen?

damn it, why the hell do people put out videos like that?

While the title is click bait, it shows actually good technique with great results (for expedient field sharpening)

As a recent recipient of a tetanus booster, I cringed over the way he held the paper and inserted the blade between his fingers, maybe it's a good thing his knives aren't very sharp.

It was something by Ozark Trail. He has a review of it.

It actually does not show any results as we did not see him sharpen the knives from dull with "his" sharpener. He just ran it across a already sharp edge and proceeded to cut paper. He could of and almost certainly pre-sharpened those blades on another system and is just "touching up" the edge for his demonstration. Just my opinion.

I'm not saying his sharpeners do not work, but I feel they are probably more of a touch up device and not a sharpener per se. Again just my opinion and I have done absolutely zero research into his product.

Same here! What's more, IMO, testing a blade's sharpness this way counts as cheating anyway so the sharpening performed in the video was far from stellar
