It seems moving here was not as good a plan as I thought!

This is not to far from the main buildings of the Canadian government (Parliament).  It is also a main intersection in the city and a few blocks away from where Megan and I live.... and closer even to where she works!

It looks like it's about 15 to 20 feet deep, but it's hard to gauge since the world famous Rideau Canal is currently emptying into it.

I thought about offering to go and drop one of my Leatherman Surges in there to fill it in, but I think we have to wait for the hole to get a bit bigger first!  :P

Out of all the people on Parliament Hill they could have talked to, journalists decided they would get the best info from an MTO member:
