Nice mod  I love the Skeletool clip, it is one of my favorite clips that LM makes :tu:
Luckily I had a spare. I had emailed Leatherman last year asking to buy the black clip from the Skeletool CX to use on my regular Skeletool, so it would not be noticeable at work.  We're not really supposed to have anything in pocket like that.

They said they don't sell the pocket clips separately, but sent me one for FREE as a favor!

Love those folks at Leatherman!!!

It's becoming tougher for me as well.  I got a couple MTs recently (should've waited until after this month) and want to carry them.  Nothing major though, just a new Rebar and another G1 Wave.

Day 15:  Coming back from lunch, I had a seatbelt catch the clip on my EDC flashlight and bend it open, so the Supertool came out to adjust tension again.

I've been carrying my Original Supertool for about a month now (some time to get prepped for the challenge, and the time in the challenge itself,) and I've developed some opinions on it.

1)  I'm carrying in a horizontal sheath at about the 3:30-4:30 position, so similar to where I conceal carry, and the weight is not noticeable to me.  I know others may not feel the same way, but for me it is a non-issue.

2)  Since the challenge started, I have not been carrying a dedicated blade as I normally would.  I have really missed having quick access to a blade.  When the challenge is over, and I switch to a modded Wave, this should be resolved.  Plus, I'll start to carry a regular knife again (Spyderco or Kershaw).

3)  I wish I would have had my Supertool 200 or ST 300 in time to carry one of those for the challenge.  Having to use an implement to unlock the one I just used has gotten to be a pain.  I probably would have used the ST 200 as it is the middle size of the three and still has a lock release.

4)  The Supertool has a great tool load out and I have really not felt lacking for something in another MT, outside of maybe a diamond file, or something in place of the serrated blade.  Since the ST 200 and ST 300 have virtually the same load out, they get a  :tu: too.

Overall, I've enjoyed the experience.  I've not felt under tooled, and I have faith that the Supertool can get me out of most jams I would find myself in.

Fifteen days down, fifteen to go.

Good thoughts Aberdrew  I love the size of the OG Supertool to be much better than any of the other tools in this line  It is a bit tedious to get another tool out to unlock the previous and wish that it had push tab locks like the 300 while keeper it's slim profile :dd: Besides scissors the Supertool has anything that I would ever want in a MT though  I am sure people will say stuff like "what about OHO and outside accesible tools and non-clumping" but I am fine with this type of tool and it's chasis :tu:

Honestly the OG Supertool is just a bit too much to pocket carry, with no good options to add a clip. I might try adding a Kick pivot and clip down the line, but as is it just isnt comfortable.

I agree about the size comment.  As for needing scissors, I said I wasn't carrying a folder, but I still have my Micra, so I'm all set for scissors!

Day 15 - Had to install a loop today, cut channel in sidewalk and drilled hole through curb to street level.  Before laying sealant insert t-shirt type bag into hole o sealant doesn't  run though.  Serrated blade has no trouble cutting bag for segment inserts.  Also, wire cutters cut lead end wires before twisting.
