DISCLAIMER: Automatic knives are illegal to carry in New Jersey, though not illegal to own. The following knife will NEVER see a second of pocket time...... ::)

My Sicilian blood is making me smile. :D Got this from my roommate yesterday. It's a cheapo, but pressing that button and having the blade pop out is just so much FUN! It's German made, actually pretty solid.

Nice JD   :tu:

Although I've never mentioned it before on here...I actually have 3 switch blades that I got from all places...Amazon!
Together with my balisong knife they are all kept in the safe. I'm sure I once read that if you are caught with any of these banned knives in a UK  public place it's a mandatory prison sentence!

Hence why they're locked up.

Although I agree they are fun. Mine are not the genuine Italian stiletto's. I did use to have a genuine one when I was a kid, swapped it for an air pistol in the school playground...infant school playground!! Lol

Imagine that today!   :ahhh

If they were legal in Va., or I moved to the three states nearby WV, TN, KY, or NC (in all of which ownership and/or carry is legal, in TN it's legal open or concealed, as they passed Knife Rights legislation), which my grandparents have considered doing for other reasons, I'd buy an M724 paratrooper's switchblade.    Here in Va, balisongs, which are to me, silly and a bit dangerous (the one I have I'm always afraid will end up going through my foot or another body part if I lose my grip) are legal, but switchblades are no more dangerous than a normal knife, as they open the same way, just helped with a spring. If AOs are legal in VA, then why aren't switchblades.  Because of the yellow journalism in the '50s that got switchblades outlawed in the first place?  Until, then, I'm happy with my Kershaw Filter AO.

Nice looking stiletto!   I flick my Kershaw often too for the same reason.

Colonial currently makes a shackle key/screwdriver/bottle opener combo (one with a slipjoint operating serrated blade), hoofpick (also offered with the same serrated blade), that aren't technically switchblades, as they're tools that open like a switchblade, not knives.  Wonder if those are legal.   They also make the M-724 in a slipjoint variant that isn't automatic.
