Outward Bound SAKs
on: May 24, 2016, 06:38:07 PM
Had a question from Pile Driver about the Outward Bound Tinker.

The blue Outward Bound Tinker was a standard catalog item ( #55131). There were at least two versions, a hot-stamped one with the crest and logo (shown) and one with just the crest. In addition there was a red version of the Tinker with an inlaid metal crest. Don't know if this was a standard version or a special run. There was also a 111mm Picnicker done for the group.

The blue Tinker shows up in the 1991 and 1998 catalogs, which gives a time frame for it. While available for a number of years it doesn't seem to be common.

That's the version shown in the catalogs. None of mine came with a box.
