Sorry, DoukDouk fans. I can't imagine carrying one of those when an excellent Case Soddie Jr costs about the same - or even less, depending on where you get the Soddie.Opening, cutting, closing, then re-pocketing a Soddie Jr. is a sensual pleasure. Great ergonomics.Opening, cutting, closing, then re-pocketing a DoukDouk at best offers the pleasure of making do with minimalist equipment. DoukDouk ergonomics are fairly poor, IMO..

You got one yet?
Why go for an alox Solo or Pioneer two-blader when you can get an alox Bantam and have so much more possibilities with the knife? Heck, and compared to the alox Solo, the Cadet will probably be about as thick. *nods*
Ok wheres the cheapest place including shipping to get a new one other than Ebay? Also it is still Made in France right?

They look like they are made by a bunch of guys who are all sitting around after creating such a monstrosity, laughing that people are actually spending money on them.

They are made by one legged Chinese children who work for M&Ms, (which are made in the US so it's OK).I think I'll get one now I know that
