The SuperTool was Leatherman's first large tool.In my opinion it was and still is one of their best
"Hard Use" tools. If mine had a pair of scissors instead of the serrated blade I would have probably never went on a quest for a "Better" tool.

Dtrain

Not too up on my discontinued Leathermans but would it be possible to swap the scissors from a PST II into the Supertool?
Life is like a sandwich...the older it gets the crustier it becomes!

I can't see why they wouldn't.   Bob or Spoon will probably have a better idea though.

Seems like it would work fine. The pivot screws for the blades are the same on both tools.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Hmmmm, good question. I'll send off an email to Leatherman and see if we get a reply. Stay tuned.......

Got a reply back from Leatherman today. The person in charge of the website says the Super Tool hasn't been forgotten. It is definitely on the "to do" list and should be added to that section shortly.  :)

How come there is no Supertool listing on the mainpage of multitool.org under Leatherman? I see the Supertool 200 but no original Supertool.

I have a few reviews to add, including a couple of Leatherman reviews, but as of yet, still no SuperTool review.

Guess I got my work cut out for me!

That would be cool to get the band back together. i can see though how you can drift from posting for a while. I was away for a bit with relocation, new job, and just busy with life.

Yes life certainly gets busy sometimes :tu: Not necessarily a bad thing though :D I had gotten to the point that my EDC was very good for me and I didn't want to change it and it got to the point where I didn't participate as much  I have been changing it up more lately again and I find that I like that better anyways :D
