Genuine Soil From Dracula's Castle
on: July 30, 2016, 08:27:17 AM
Anyone else remember this from their teenage years, Genuine Soil From Dracula's Castle.

Almost bought one... then I found a Boomerang Man catalog and that started my first collectable obsession. Was making them, flying them, buying boomerangs from all over the world. Had some nice ones too, and have one that still does 180 yards - though I've no where to fly it anymore, nor have the arm like I had when I was 19.
Did a boomerang portal website the first year in college and ported it over to Google for sheeps and giggles. Surprised it's still there.

That idea of the vial of dust created yet a 40+ year quest, from way back in 1976. And as of yet have not gotten that Red Australian Sand in a vial...
/deep sigh   Not giving up hope! If I ever get there I'm going to fill my pockets with the stuff.

Goodness gracious - what people will sell.   I live 5 kilometers away from Dracula's castle. I'll get a shovel and can sell a bucket for 5 usd... extra for any earthworms ;)

Does that include shipping?

Haha, it loses it's charm once it gets into everything.

I'm not sure what AQIS DAFF Customs border protection would think of it, but I'm sure someone could help you out.
