What do we have on the way - non tool edition

All the threads like this on the other sub forums are all tool based, and I'm sure we all buy other non tool stuff we'd like to share.

I'm getting ready for my holiday to a cottage in Norfolk, so I have a new camp chair on the way

And for keeping my tootsies warm in the evening at the cottage I have a new pair of these

super comfy with memory foam in them  :D

New battery for my note 4. It went from 46% to dead in seconds, and not for the first time. Then on plugging the charger in was up at 40% in less than a minute.  I think it's a bit poorly.

New one ordered off amazon.

Nice idea for a thread!

I have a Chromebook sleve coming for my daughter.  Apparently the school district got a grant for Chromebooks, and kindergarteners get them too   My kid, bright as she is, has no idea how to use it (despite being well-versed in Android and iPads), and can barely stand upright when we put it in her backpack...

At least she got to pick out the case for it...  :-\

10 M2 taps. I figured at that size it was the smart thing to buy them in bulk.

Not with the 4 TB drives, have you seen the cost of them? My boot drives are SSD

I had a 4 x 2 Gb Seagate NAS die on me through disk failure a few months ago - really thought I'd lost everything but luckily I have a friend who is good at data recovery and I ended up losing nothing, eventually.

I shall not trust Seagate drives ever again and immediately replaced with 8 WD drives in two replicated NASs (4x3Gb each) and backup to the cloud also. It scared me a lot!

I used to come here a lot.

My father found me a bike second hand. The picture is rather bad after being sent to me and the bike is from the nineties (there's a sticker from a '96 race the previous owner used it for)  but at 70 dollars I think I got a really good deal. It won't show up until October though, out of local biking season.

Just getting together a few things for my pack, and build a detachable daypack. A side pocket, yoke, another couple of side pockets will follow, when I find exactly what I am looking for

I have a soft spot for DPM and MTP camo

oh God.  Do you know how old you just made me feel?
My mountain bike is c1996 and I would never have thought anyone would consider that "vintage".

No. That was the "old" part. Not the vintage bit.

Congrats JD!

I've ordered a spinning base for my spinning top. Turns out my desk isn't that level so the top just shoots to the end and hits the telephone every time, lol.

Problem is, that I somehow thought that adding a Ti top so I qualified for free shipping was a good idea

:D

Anyone else into these tops at all? I'm finding it very addictive!
I used to come here a lot.
