He'd asked not to be included in the giveaway:
OK so I'll try this for fun, at least until tomorrow. One day at time, right?  :D

Starting with Ellie slicing some onions today.  :salute:

Hopefully there is a badge at the end of this, as I'm not entering the GAW, good luck all!  :tu:
I hope he doesn't change his mind now. :pok:

No GAW for me, I have an example of the CT in my collection already. I wish good luck to the remaining contestants of this very generous GAW, how I know everyone has earned it!

The badge is also a good reward, I am pleased (and a little more educated).  :D

Signed, your friend Twiglet.  :P

John, you must be ready for another layer at this point.

Layers? Layers? We don't need no stinkin' layers!
   Wrong script.  :D

Hasn't been half as bad as I'd thought it would be. Required some "how can I do this, with only that" thinking.

I'm looking forward to using some of the multi-layer discontinued as I'm on the 6th day of that challenge and it will be easy by comparison. I've got quite a few different discontinued SAKs. Didn't realize how many until I started doing an inventory of what I could use for the challenge.

Just spent my lunch break catching up with the photos from the last week and getting the list up to date:

:like: :like: :like: :tu: :tu: :tu: everyone.

Looks llike T14, m47mu74nt, Oxford_Guy, glenfiddich1983, magentus, Fortytwo, shamus, zrxoa1, JasonJ, Kurt Misner, Alan K., kaput and (I assume) jalind are all in with a shot at the Cybertool.

I was able to create the award for the challenge myself so I'll give it to those of you who have finished so far.  Great effort eveyone. :D

Hey all, was able to get my username changed from Kurt Misner to Mizedog (thank you Hiraethus!!!).  Uh..., that doesn't mean I have to start over, does it?  ;)

John, you must be ready for another layer at this point.

More seriously . . .
The reason I've been doing it single layer is the horde of 2-layer Vic and Wenger SAKs I have. Not counting the 58mm or 65mm, or the 108mm GAK (not a Vic), there are 16 different models 74mm to 111mm. That would have been in addition to the 13 single layer. That many to choose from didn't seem very challenging, so I decided to limit it to the baker's dozen single layer. I've used a dozen of them so far, and for me it's been more fun than it would have been using the two layer also. I'd have probably ignored most of the single layer and it forced me to use them much more than I have before.

Thanks for the badge. I kind of like how the badge doesn't say 30, but it is different than the other 30 day challenge badges...

It's funny I actually don't even have a knife on me today yet. Oh the choices and freedom! *As i am automatically conditioned to grab for my electrician haha

Amici,
After a long absence, I have returned as well as discovered this thread, and have been participating albeit off to a late start.. So far, I'm on day # 5, and here is what I carry for EDC with the possible addition of a Buck 110 every now and then on the weekends, especially at this time of year.

I guess you can say that I've fallen in "l-u-v" with my Victorinox Champion once again, especially since I attached a P-7 suspension clip which makes pocket carry a no brainer...

Cheers,
Serge

Day 31:

This is it!

This was a hard challenge... Especially thr last two weeks. I really struggled not having my leatherman or an extra key chain sak with my pioneer.

I did learn that 80-90% of my multitool needs are filled by this tool, however.  Just having to go grab a dedicated honest for real pair of plain Jane pliers instead of my LM sidekick or wingman.... That's the one tool I find it hard to leave is an MT with med to full sized pliers.  I never liked the vic pliers much, as they're too small for most of my plier needs.

We'll, here's my final picture... It's Halloween, and these dang bags are tough to open without a tool, so why not a SAK blade!?

There's an indelible image of T14 waddling around with  pockets bulging, having great difficulty sitting down and getting up again but feeling very very happy.

No camera @ uni today But I had to dump my pockets into my messenger bag as my pants had developed this sudden urge to visit my ankles all the time... A social faux pas waiting to happen on a university campus

I might need to get into the suspenders market if I am to continue living the dream
Or maybe a button-down shirt with BIG breast pockets

Spread it around; shirt/jacket with breast and hip pockets, combat trousers (6 pockets), neck carry, belt sheath, prison carry (you have to be dedicated for that though  )
