Sterling or stainless?
on: September 13, 2016, 02:00:50 AM
Does anyone know how to tell the difference between the polished steel vs sterling silver Wenger Esquires? I want to be sure i know what Im getting before I get it. Is one more highly polished while the other is more dull? Fingers crossed!! Thanks!

Now that helps! The ones that I am looking at are smooth like the bottom one. Next time I go back to that store I will know exactly where to look to see whether it is sterling or stainless. Many thanks again!

How about using a magnet. A neodinum will stick a bit to silver due to the liners, but if it's stainless it will stick like glue.
There is also a solution that turns red near silver.
