I came across this and it seems to be a pretty good idea, it's a simple design, I've got no connection to them at all

Would want to be the poor guy who has to carry that on a long trek though:D

It's definitely for car camping, but it weighs less than my rocket stove and seems pretty versatile.

It's definitely for car camping, but it weighs less than my rocket stove and seems pretty versatile.

It would be brilliant for some fancy cooking at a primitive cabin. Easy to stow away when not in use.

I can't get the vid to play at the moment, but followed the link and had a quick peek at the site. I think that would be fun in a back garden, not just on a camping trip. The other thing I would add, is that a lot of boilers don't like to be run dry - it can cause irreparable damage. Not sure how this would fare, but worth bearing in mind.

It is expensive, but in stainless seems like it should last a good while.
I thought about the boiling dry as well, having seen a kelly kettle get destroyed, but this one seems to be designed to boil dry. Perhaps someone smarter than me can work it out  :ahhh
