i sure re,e,ber tschernobyl-case,here we had bit of a panic too back then,as we live next to russia.but atleast till now no one has ignited a war cause of the nuclear powerplants.

We're having a lot of problems with our government policy to build more nuclear power stations atm, as at best it's only going to provide a tiny amount of electricity, and is going to cost billions of pounds to built and maintain, money that would be much better spent on renewable technologies which is something we are falling woefully short on compared to the rest of Europe >:(
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

  I think that no matter who wins the White House in Nov. nuclear power plants are going to be seriously discussed.If any new plants do come online,I hope new tighter safety standards are rigidly enforced every step of the way,and tha money and brain power is dedicated to chasing down fusion power.
 Back in the'70's, a nuclear power plant was being built on the Ohio River,just upstream from Cincinnati,and the construction was so shoddy,that conversion to coal burning was necessary---- a billion dollar boondoggle :(
