I see.

Well, I got my brain reward, for trying to solve this mystery. Now Hercule Poirot will leave this to the authorities and he is going to have a good night's sleep.

I really hope this sorts itself out.

I am looking into this- if you have any info to share, please let me know via PM rather than speculate openly.  I appreciate that folks want to know what is going on, but we don't want to muddy the waters any more than necessary.

Part 2 arrived today, not opened yet, got it on my way out shopping with the wife because apparently unless I'm not standing in the store bored out of my head she can't decide

Wow! I missed all the drama. I have 15 messages in my inbox. I spent an early Xmas at the inlaws and then had to work some very long shifts over the xmas period. Sorry I didn't get back sooner. If I have read correctly, Grant has sorted it out. I sent one package to Germany and I received one from Denmark (I think).
I posted the tracking number, & posted a pic of what I received on the thread.

A: Who should I send what address in germany I sent a package?

B: Is there anyone in Australia that missed out? In the spirit of xmas I can send something.

C: I we can all take a deep breath. I'm sure we don't need to get Interpol involved.

what, all I said was exactly what happened.

That being said, part 2 contains a little book of how to speak Texan, which might make it handy if I ever get over there and meet Richard Rawlings and Dennis Collins.  :P

It also contained a bunch of sweets called Sevillanas (which ironically is south Spain) which look a lot like mini thin Stroopwafels.

I think those candies are actually called Mini Obleas with Cajeta. They are my favorite form of Mexican candies, which are very popular here in Texas, and I thought you would appreciate the local flavors.

looking at them, yes it's more like the communion wafer than the wafer Dutch stroopwafels have...

Have you learned to speak Texan yet?

Also, did you hear that the Bearded Wonder has left Gas Monkey?

no, I haven't dabbled in Texan yet.

Yes I heard a-ron left, saw the Episode where he does, and not sure if it's a gimmick or just an excuse to boost the viewing of the new season or a sign of the end. If you look at the people that have come and gone over the span of the show, it was sort of an inevitability. (Especially if you look at similar shows like American Chopper where it all fell apart in spite of success.)

I think Aaron is more than capable of setting out on his own or writing his own paycheque pretty well anywhere he wants to go.  What I am wondering is if this is another spin off show like Misfit Garage?  Are we going to see a new show next year called Kaufman's Rat Rods?

From what I've heard through the grapevine, he already has his own garage separate from Gas Monkey.

I do sometimes feel like they've gone away from the "fast and loud" towards "flashy and expensive" IMHO some of their best builds were going all modern under a vintage body.

You can't blame a business for going towards what is more profitable.

The question is, one of the reasons we watched Fast & Loud is to see the banter between those two, so how will the show go without that?

As a whole the "Gas Monkey" brand seems to be exploding in a bunch of different directions, many of which I'm pretty sure will be short lived.

I think Aaron has lost interest about the same time he built his Falcon and started racing pikes peak tbh. He seems to be more interested in that than the monkey business... can't say I blame him.

I assume Fast n Loud will carry on, as they have as other cast members left and continue to leave.

a tad weird yes, but obviously a very skilled painter, and he's the one that did most of the better smokey burnouts in the parking lot...

The Richard/Aaron relationship is very much akin to the PaulSr/PaulJr in American Chopper, once Jr left OCC their designs kind of floundered a bit. Hopefully not the case here, guess we'll see once the new season starts up.

it's getting harder to follow, especially over here where they air irregularly and not always in order.

Thankfully my internet VCR records them...

Yeah, I need to put more effort into watching it.  I just can't really find the time to dedicate to watching a lot of TV.

Hi sorry I've been busy. seems I messed up with the list. I have been severely under stress. I have read back through my messages and have mixed up and sent Thedude the wrong address. Myself and my GF use the same laptop and she had sent her address to a relative for christmas cards I had posted it to Thedude by mistake. I know no-one will believe it when I say I generally didn't realize it was like Paste 'send' paste 'send' I was trying to organize  this and juggle a hundred things! However I have never received anything else apart from Hiartheus,my GF has not received a few things she was waiting for from Amazon either. I believe I sent to Kampfler. I will resend if he has not received it.
Please believe that this is not intentional.

That was Josh's last communication to Grant.
No one heard from him ever since.

Intentional or not, it is kind of hard to believe he pasted his own/his GF's address AND he did't see this AND the package from TheDude didn't arrive AND several packages from Amazon also didn't arrive AND the package he sent to you also didn't arrive. The accumulation of all of this just appears very unlikely

In my opinion there are 3 possibilities:
- Josh is lying
- Josh's GF is screwing Josh (but not in the good way)
- Josh is a muddle-head (and if you know yourself being that way you shouldn't organise something like this...)

What got me  :poh: is:
Kampfer is a common word in German, means fighter. Josh (lives in Germany) said he might had sent Kampfler (misspelled) but he was not sure.

Base on my secret Santa 2016 experience, I can conclude that josh613 is an irresponsible person with horrible organizing skill, and possible a liar.
