Will there be a visible difference in lumens between the Q5 and the R2 upgraded edition?

I agree.  It definitely won't be worth the cost of upgrading.

I only have one light with an R2 in it, my 6P with a lumens factory D26 in it, and it is very bright, but the tint on it is so white it makes most things look almost ghostly white which isnt really the way I prefer my lights.

Now my TK 11's Q5 tint is much warmer, plus it throws slightly farther because of its smooth reflector than the D26. If the D26 is brighter lumens wise I cant tell at all.
