Wave/charge pivots and pins in a rebar

Hello!
I was wondering if the wave or charge pivots would fit in the rebar body, I've noticed that the heads are a bit larger, I could probably make them smaller with a lathe. The question is if the inner dimensions are the same. Anybody did this?

The pivot diameter is the same , not sure about the length.

Length may be similar after taking the pommel pieces into account....   :think:
