What if your battery runs empty?

They're still good knives.

I have the right kind of batteries for my Wenger Laser.
Just like Glen's, however, it doesn't work.
Any electric device may break long before your SAK begins to rust.

I also have SAKs with a white LED, or a red one. These are OK.

Thanks, SG.

I pulled the batteries from all (?) of my electrical SAKs in order to keep a bad battery from ruining the knife.  The nice thing about them is even if the electrical part is kaput, you still have a useful tool. If your cell phone dies you have an expensive piece of plastic.

Story I heard: Some years back DoD was trying to sell the Marines on digital maps. A Marine Colonel took the laptop, threw it on the ground and proceeded to blow a hole through it with his M9. "Now what do you have?", he asked.
