I was watching a video last night and the idea of being able to buy anything gear related came up.  I got to thinking like the person in the video that its kinda hard to nail down what I'd get.

Lets do something a little different.  You were just given the opportunity to receive a piece of gear from your favorites companies.  What do you get?  Watches, firearms, knives, leather goods, bags, flashlights, Multitools, SAKs, etc.  The limit is up to you but its one item per manufacture/maker.  Also no repeat items.  You cannot get 2 pistols cause one was from S&W and the other was from Glock for example.  Same with all other items.

Do you use those items or will they be put on a shelf and admired?

Go........

I'd go with an LT Wright Genesis since I do admire it and it fills a void in my stuff to use, Kifaru Doobie and an Evernew Ti UL 900ml pot. Light and not something where I'd be willing to trade in on quality or weight

While I would love to have something from each of my favorite manufactures I'd probably not do it.  I'd want heirloom pieces that would outlast me and offer my son a tool he'd be proud to own and pass down.

I already got them.
From Leatherman the Charge TTi (also Surge, Crunch, Juice Pro etc).
From Victorinox Swisshamp XLT (also XAVT)
From Wenger the Ranger Hunter (also S 557)
From Suunto the Core Black.

In a wider sense I would like (for free)

From Tissot a T-Touch
From Astrophysics a 155mm f7 Starfire EDFS
From Intes Micro a ALTER M1412 Deluxe
From Zeiss  20x60 T* S Image Stabilization Binoculars
From Leica a Duovid 8+12x42
From Swarovski the Svarovision EL 42
From Televue the TV-85
From Olympus the SZX7 Stereomicroscope

Wait, this gets shelfish. People are hungry around the globe and I have already enough.

This is why I didn't say we had a dump truck full of cash to spend.  If we had that cash I'd hope we'd contribute to those less fortunate.  This is a bit different perspective I hope.
