There is a quick way to spot if a Vic' SAK is 84mm or 91mm. If the awl/corkscrew pivot is nearly inline with the point of the shield it's 84. If there is a gap the size of the shield it's 91mm(Image removed from quote.)you're welcome
I've never actually seen an 84mm Climber, much less one with a hook. I'm more inclined to believe it's all just a rumor anyway.

Small climbers certainly do exist. Here are a couple of mine Both in horn scales, one a 1940's Armee Suisse and the other a 1950's Victoria.(Image removed from quote.)But 84mm scissors were discontinued long before the introduction of that abomination the hook.
Thanks everyone!! I love how the 84mm's carry and am a big 3layer fan. PTRSak and Jaya, those Climbers are gorgeous!!!
Here's my Small Climber with the clip point small blade...(Image removed from quote.)

You hear me Victorinox...Unfortunately the Delemont Vic's probably stopped that from ever happening. But as I proved, http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,41486.0.html , it's not a big job to fit the "Wenger" scossors into the 84mm Victorinox frame. Maybe a factory version of this "mod". All they would need to do is a new backspring, much less work than both scissors and spring.
