okay. I asked what was new, they showed me their flashlight line-up, I was impressed.

AAA, AA, and CR134 lights. rugged, high and low on the AAA and AA and high-med-low on the CR123
(don't ask me the lumens!)

Actually, the S1 and S2 are both AAA, and the S3 is CR123.

could be, I have to learn to take a note pad or recorder next time (live n learn).

I'll take better pictures (close ups) and get more details about stuff and names!

No problem.  I have all three of them, and am long overdue to post a review!

Hi first? Urg...

I still don't get what is the UI, is it fenix style or click through?

But how does it work, does it click on, then switch mode by half depress, and you can click off anytime? Or does it click hi, click med, click low, then click off?

gotcha! it was; Click on and off; Click on (first mode low) then tap for med, tap for high; (repeat).
one light was just high and low, the other 2 lights were 3 mods.

That is correct.

S1 = Fenix E01 (Nichia GS LED) w/clickie  On/off only.
S2 = Fenix L0D-CE w/clickie. (Cree XR-E LED) Two levels only.  Click on low, tap again for high.  (PWM on low like L0D)
S3 = Fenix P1D-CE w/clickie. (Cree XR-E LED) Three levels only.  Click on low, tap for med, tap again for high.

All have reverse clickies.  S2 and S3 have stainless steel heads.  The clips on the S1 and S2 are much better than those seen on the AAA Fenix lights, and the heavy clip on the S3 is reversible.

Hi EdoTech,

The large Crater with the pocket clip is either the c55B (straight-edged blade) or the c55BX (combination straight/serrated blade).  By the way, the pocket clip is a huge improvement over those on the first generation Leatherman knives.

Best - Joe
