What a complete and utter waste of time that was....

I have had kidney stones that I enjoyed more than that movie.

A fair point well made, that's why I'm hoping they realise the mistakes they made with that turd and don't repeat it  :twak:

Exactly why was Charlize Thereon even in that movie?   Her character had absolutely nothing to do with anything.

Prometheus!

I went and saw that the day it came out....If a movie could give you a swift kick in the nuts this movie was it. I love anything Aliens but this was crap on a cracker.

I'm hopeful but not optimistic.

They needed her name for box office draw.

I figured Ripley Scott would have been draw enough.  I guess after that hunk of crap was released they decided his name would lose an awful lot of credibility.

Oh yeah, and I hear there's a new Bladerunner movie coming.  Ridley must have lost all his money somewhere.

I think I'm going to pretend the Bladerunner film isn't coming, just as I refuse to believe the directors cut was ever made

The new Point Break doesn't exist.

The new Point Break wasn't bad for a turn your brain off type of a movie..

I will consider AVP canon before Prometheus.

And I'm very glad to see I'm not the only one who prefers the theatrical version of Blade Runner to the director's recuts. I know Scott and Ford both hated the noir-style voice overs, but I think it went a long way to making the movie timeless.
