Anyone use any of these? The wife and I are looking for a new way of cooking, most of our stuff is done crockpot or on a George Forman, and being a new year the Mrs wants to switch things up a little. It's just these things are just not of my knowledge, I guess I'm just old school,

I watched someone use one of those nuwaves and put a solid frozen 14lb turkey in one and cooked it in 3-1/2hrs, it was a little under cooked in a few spots but with another 30min that thing probably would have been spot on.

And those airfryers look to make some nice French fries, but don't have a large compacity,

So I was wondering if anyone has any experience with any of theses things? Thanks..

I'm trying to cut down on stuff as I've got a very small kitchen now, but that Nuwave looks a lot like the old Remoska cookers

I hear you on the small, my kitchens got to be like 5'x5' with a stove fridge dishwasher(don't uses) and of course sink, yet it's a walk through so countertop space is totally limited! Just enough room for the micro, George, and a dryer rack for the dishes, since we don't use the entire stove top we put a board and that's where the crockpot goes..

I guess no one cooks with anything besides a stove, microwave, or crockpot?

I love the idea of convention cooking.  Between the ones you listed I'm not sure.  Conduction and convection will certainly get you some quick cooking done.  Its pretty versatile as well, as you can do whatever in those type cookers you can do in your oven but faster.  The "frying" aspect is neat too plus I believe you can steam and boil as well.

I guess I'd read the reviews and then make my decision.

been using halogen oven for 3 or 4 years now and theyre great if you have small kitchen.
cooks quicker and with less heat without having to wait for oven to heat up, but pita as bulb dies after a year to 18months.

if you're electrically skilled then they quite cheap to replace.

never cooked from frozen or steamed but have cooked whole chickens plenty of time in about 40-45mins.

toast isnt so great in them though.

I've got a tefal actifry air fryer. I've had it for several years and it's been great.  Mines at least 4 or 5 years old so it's a lot different than the current models on looks, but they still make the parts for them. The stirrer/agitator that spins in the middle is still the same, as I found out when I had to replace mine after dropping it while hot on a tiled kitchen floor and breaking it.

It's all non-stick and really easy to clean as well, mine gets used often.
