What's Your Emergency?
Miss A helps you solve your everyday emergencies. Here are some situations the Miss A Kit helped women handle:

The Picnic Emergency
"I was on a picnic in the park with a really cute guy when I realized I hadn't thought to bring a corkscrew to open the wine bottle he was holding. No store nearby, either… But I gave him my Miss A Kit so he could open the bottle, then had just enough time to check my lipstick in the kit mirror while he poured. I love my Miss A Kit! P.S. We're still dating!" -- Susie, Chicago, IL

The Daily Emergency
"I have never seen a cooler product on the market. I use it at work all the time. It's so handy I can never lose my pen again and the tweezers are great for splinters. There are numerous times I've used the nail file and scissors. The knife has even gotten me out of a few jams. When you work at a messy job like me, the Miss A kit really comes through. Thank you for making such an innovative and imaginative product. " -- Lauren

The Rest Room Emergency
"I was shopping at a local store during some nasty weather. The electricity went off when I was in the restroom. With no windows it could have gotten nasty, but my Miss A Kit, equipped with flashlight, led me to less stinky ground!" -- Kirby, Lake Arrowhead, CA

I gave most of the women I know Victorinox SAKs.
I still feel good about my choice.

it is honestly not that bad an idea. If it didn't have the blade and you blunt the scissor tips it could possibly be made TSA friendly even. The idea is unique and the marketing seems spot on. Now I am not going to go out of my way, but if I should stumble on one I may get it just for being so odd.
Amazon is sold out...they only had pink anyway :twak:

I know of only one other handle storage folding knife out there and it is a bushcraft/survival job. This would be the Apollo/LuckyBoy Survival Knife featured in the last issue of Backwoodsman magazine. BladeForums has a thread up from '08 with some nice pics. I wont clutter us up with pics I'd just be ripping off from them any way so heres the link

It's not really relivant to this thread anyway :pommel:

Hrm. It's an interesting concept, to be sure...But I must join in the fears of poor build quality.

That said, I do like the idea of more extensive scale storage, and the idea of putting something like a mirror inside is pretty clever for little to no space costs. And having a needle and thread is very useful indeed.

If I gave that to my mother, I might find it stuffed where the sun doesn't shine.

Now, Compact with purple plus scales she would like. It would go nicely with her original model, blunt nosed Gerber 600. No accounting for taste...

Necessity is the mother of invention. If you're not ready, it's "a mother". If you are, it's "mom".

Richartz at one time offered a pocket knife with a compartment. Came with some micro screwdrivers, but could also be used for other things, such as pills.
