Just saw these.  I dig Creek and these knives certainly have his flair.  Anyone have one?

I believe this is the company that makes the knives for Creek.

The knife isn't that sharp in the paper cut

He say A36 steel with outside steel

Looks like it was only the inner core that was holding it together. Sounded like it took some effort to bend it though. :D

I really dig the Camp model. A tad pricey at $85 perhaps, but with two(!) sheaths included, it's a bargain if everything is good quality.

But now... I'm just waiting for Zed to buy one of the kukris and review it for us  :pok:

It does indeed look like it took quite an effort to bend it.  I also see where the outer metal ( cracked ) while the inner core held.  Creek does say he warrantied them for as long as he's around.

Time for some honesty.....

I googled him now, so I'm not sure how I missed him all these years that I've been interested in his subject......

I liked the knife pictured in the thumbnail, so I was excited to watch the video.....

TBH, it rung a bit hollow.  Probably just me, but some of what he said is not compatible with launching a line of knives

Would you mind elaborating? What exactly did you take issue with?

Well......it's ten knives, let's forget the neck knife and say nine edged tools.

He mentioned having tested for "years" IIRC......

I would've had a warmer feeling if his sales pitch went more the "design input based on my years of experience" or something like that.

I like the name, but then the handles from reclaimed whiskey barrels just hits me as contrived....

My last gripe, the Hustler........the less I say about the Hustler the better

I might just be F-O-S, and I do like several of the knives

If I had found the knives via some other way then maybe, but his sales pitch totally put me off.

I get where you're coming from with the whiskey barrels. It does seem like he was reaching for a gimmick there. And I absolutely agree about the Hustler... For a knife line that seems to have some concern for functionality, that is a pretty fantasy-heavy design. The giant spike "extended tang" is a real head scratcher. You're supposed to jam it in the ground to keep from losing the knife in the field? Okay, sure, I guess that's a new idea. But good luck carrying and working with the thing. That'll be fun to have jabbing into your forearm and torso.
