WOW I'd think there'd be several with broken SOMETHING.
Medieval armor is quite though... basically, they are using the weapons "wrong", probably due to rules. You want to hurt someone in full plate, you use thrust and not swings. The point in these melees is to get the opponent to the ground, so it is mostly push and wrestle. Overall, there is very little finesse in their technique (especially apparent in the one on one in the second movie).
The 3rd movie shows a bit more skill. Still no thrusting, a real slug match with the most damage done by the shields and wrestling.
In HEMA, more skill and you only get points if the opponent does not hit you. The idea behind is that if both hit, really hit with the sword, it does not matter who hits first. You see this in the final, often there are no points awarded. Gets worse in previous rounds because you get -1 for every double in the next match
