I missed this last night as I took the decision to drive into London rather than use public transport.

Terrible news.

I'd say words fail me,but it's just that so much of what I'd want to say breach forum rules.

Thoughts and prayers to all those affected, and bloody well done to the police and emergency services :salute:

Oh wow, that's just freaking
We don't watch news, and all the shows we do watch we record and fast forward through the commercials to advoid the dumb stuff or politics and turn the shows into 45min rather then 60min. So any info we do get is from the wife's connections or from me basicly from on here..

That's just BS, I just don't understand what the hell this world is coming to? Thoughts out to everyone!

Add me as another who is refraining from commenting to avoid saying something that isn't forum friendly. There are things that definitely need saying, but MTO is not the place.....

I'm in agreement with all of you.  I think that times like this are difficult for all of us, as we all have things we want to say, and, as much as it would be a great boost to the post count if we opened the flood gates, I would very much hate for things like this to cause rifts among members.  And it would- which is unfortunate because we all want to say something.

In the end I think we need to take a breath and just make sure that everyone we know and care for is ok- that's the best we can hope for.

Thanks.

Like everyone else I have had a hard time responding to this because there's so much I want to say, but I also think that using a tragedy like this as a soapbox to push one's own agenda is also horrific... and that since most of us have the same thoughts on this, there's not as much reason to say it.

However, if anyone wants to discuss this and not pull any punches, please feel free to PM me.  My door is always open.

I doubt anyone would get banned over it... more likely the thread would be locked, and, in the case of particularly heinous comments, the post might be edited.

I'm not a fan of banning, or editing people's posts, so it has to be particularly bad for either to happen.

Well, we have personal agendas here, but we also share some basic values, most of us, if not everyone, here in MTO. Yes to life and life's little highlights (yes, SAKs and such are included), no to any kind of harm, especially harm against innocent and unsuspecting people. Whoever harms whoever, whenever and for whatever reason, will only earn our disapproval. We can agree with that and nobody gets banned for supporting peace, justice and reason. In this part of the world at least.
