Are you not able to attach a photo to a pm to another member the way you are on a regular forum post?

doesn't the insert image work as normal as it's there in pm's?

Yeah img tags work but the question is about attaching pics that aren't already hosted.

As far as I recall, attaching photos/files has never been something you could do in a PM.  I've often wondered why, but I think it has something to do with attachments being in a public folder somewhere while PM's are private.
