Does anyone have any of the 3 new LM lights

If so how is the quality, how bright is it, what did it cost and where did you get it?

And any other things that might be of interest :pok: :D :D :D

I have all three and will finally post a complete review of them with pictures by Tuesday of this week.  No, really--I promise!!!

My apologies to those who have been waiting patiently for the review of the Seracs.

Info from Leatherman has been sketchy on these but I've been told from multiple people now that they won't ship to dealers until January at the earliest.

Has it in stock or is listing it in stock?  It's a common practice for dealers to say they have them when they don't so they can take advantage of the initial interest in the product.  Remember what happened with the Skeletools?

Well it is Heinnies and if they don't have it, they always say when they are expecting it in and the Seracs are all showing as in stock.

It wouldn't surprise me if there are large accounts that have them already.  It was hard for me to get a straight answer about the availability to regular dealers and I assume it's because they are doing the same with the flashlight line as they did with the new knife line.  Regular dealers had/have to wait until the big box stores roll them out first.  Not happy about it but what can you do about it.

A buddy of mine bought an S2 , I was very impressed with it . Loved the pocket clip , and stainless bezel , the outputs were about perfect for a task lite . I will deffinately be getting a couple . One will be replacing my Streamlite microstream as my backup worklite/penlight .

I would have to say that for their first esay in flashlights , I would give them a solid A . If they ahd also included a AA in the lineup , I would be inclined to an A+.

I have had all three of them for awhile now.. The Serac S2 is my favorite. When a carry a premium LM sheath it replaced the Microstream that previously went in there! The Serac S3 is nice too, but TBH I am not a big fan of 1x c123 lights.. The Serac S1 isn't anything special.. I was not impressed with it at all actually. The SL Microstream is cheaper and it is far brighter.. The S2 us certainly a winner though!

Of the 3 lights, the S2 is my favorite as well.  I ordered one the first night after trying one at the SHOT Show :D

Yeah, the S2 is just perfect! How much did you pay for it, Mikey? I paid $55 for it and then a week later they went down to $38.50! I was not a happy about that!  >:(  :D
