on: July 13, 2017, 02:20:59 PM
I traded the powerlock and powerplay with a friend as now I have a wave again thanks to Aloha and my other lm users I had no need for the 2 sogs, well as I'm off work still with this Ankle I needed some projects, a deal was done plus he added a few extras, think I'll be busy for a while  :salute:

Cheers guys ,yeah lots to play with, necker needs a sheath made, the khukuri needs a whole new scabbard making plus needs 're opening as butt plate wobbly, blade needs cleaning up and at sharpening, Linder dagger is ok ,blue Mora 511 is for Gorgia  :D she claimed that one, puma back packer model 465 date code 1980 just needs oiling as was stiff, that's done, the old Mora #? bigger than #1  #3 possibly,I 're sharpened it and put it in a newer sheath as old one has a crack at the top ,I'll cover that sheath in the end. Yes Tony it's a custom opie #7 looks like none but is wood, needs sharpening but a cool looking knife  :salute: don't think I missed any  :tu:

Cool!

Cheers Nate  :salute: should keep me busy  :tu:

Close up of the khukuri and the linder dagger,I'm not really into daggers as only really one use  ;) but this is a nice stag handled Dagger, the scabbard leather though going into the belt loops a bit worn so might make this a new sheath in the end  :tu:

I think thats the only Opie I've seen with the end carved   Neat idea to spice up an Opie.  Those blades should keep you occupied if for only a bit.

  well opie sharpened, puma loosened and sharpened, classic mora sharpened ,  still loads to do,sharpening was the easy bit  :tu: sadly even the wood is knackered on the khukuri scabbard so not just leather work,so that will take longer, the Khukuri should turn out nice,I'll keep some of its patina though as it's old, around 1940-50's not sure who did the opinel ,I'll try and find out  :tu:
