Early Yeoman, tools configuration ?

Hi Guys,

I have a doubt about the early Yeoman (~1980's) tools configuration, is this possible ? :

- grooved corkscrew
- NO hook
- screw on scissors
- NO plus scales (no pen, no pin)
- NO mini screwdriver

Have you ever saw such a Yeoman ?

Is there a reason for doubt?

The hook wasn't added until the early 90's.
Grooved corkscrew and screw on scissors were the usual type in the 80's.
Mini screwdriver is not an indicator of age, because it can be removed/lost and/or replaced. But it was available back then.
I think that the plus scales weren't around in the 80's.

My doubt does not focus on the tools coherence since it is indeed perfectly consistant with 80's production.

My doubt focus on the possibility to have this tools configuration on the Yeoman (No plus scales...)

Three things:
One, I don't know if plus scales even existed in the 80s. 
Two, I don't know if the Yeoman was only sold with plus scales, assuming plus scales existed at the time.   
Three, assuming that plus scales existed in the 80s, AND the Yeoman was sold with plus scales only, it's possible for someone to remove the plus scales and put on non-plus scales.
So.

• Plus Scales arrived on the Swiss Champ, Scientist, and 91mm Golfer (in approx that order) starting about 1985-1986
• I don't know a lot about Victorinox Yeoman production, but I don't recall ever seeing a picture of a true Vic Yeoman without a hook, which leads me to believe that the Yeoman didn't start production prior to 1991. In fact, I believe the Yeoman was only produced for a short period (maybe 1999 - 2003/2004). Here's where we need one of our smarter members regarding SAK history, like JazzBass, to keep us all straight.
• While I'm not the expert here, given the number and frequency of Yeoman being listed for sale via the internet, I kind of think many are just mods, discounting the B+ versions floating around.

1982 Combo Tool

1983 Patented mini screwdriver.

1985 ball point pen, fine screwdriver, chisel, reamer with sewing eye.

Technically possible but I've never seen one. Seems like if they were made for that long they would be so uncommon.

Do you mean "more common" or "wouldn't be so uncommon"?

While I pretty much agree...keep in mind the Scientist. It's been said the Scientist was produced between 1986-1999 (quantities unknown, though available boxed & in blister packaging), but is actually harder to find in the used market than the Yeoman.
