I had to go out and buy some socks to enter, but let's forget about that...

Because you normally don't wear socks?

Not in a very common way, no...

Actually... The only time I wear socks is when I go outside...
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Congrats on your first year as a MToer, Ronald!

  :drink:

Very original idea for the GAW and very generous of you.
 :salute:  :tu:

I had to go out and buy some socks to enter, but let's forget about that...

I also took only one pic but then I saw you wanted:
1. Sax'n'sox - a picture of a Swiss Army Knife with a (fresh!) pair of socks.
2. Multi'n'mag - a picture of a multitool (pliers or scissors based) on the cover of a magazine.
3. Knife'n'gloves - a picture of a "proper" knife (i.e. not a SAK or a multitool) with a pair of gloves.

So I had to take three more pics... This GAW is given me a lot of work already...
 :twak: :twak:

Is that a proper French Laguiole? What are the handles made of? Pakkawood?

Loved this one. Amazing contest. Great prize too. I borrowed my daughter's mittens and socks for this... far cuter and cleaner than mine...

Thank you... it's my precious  :D

Jigged bone, Titanium, Damascus made of VG10 and DPS 15.
500 copies ever made...

When I first saw one, all had been sold ages ago so I had to get mine directly from the special stock in the Golden factory... it took quite a bit of begging and bribing...  :P

No, only the shape is similar. It's handmade by a portuguese knifemaker, Joaquim Maria Jorge. The handle is made from polished horn.

It was not my intention that people should go out and buy things. I chose these items because I thought everyone would have them. Anyway, nice socks Santos! :D

I´m wondering about something else. Are there many MTo members unable to make/post photos? If so, my next GAW (if any) should be very different.  :-\

BTW I like how this is going! Nice pics and great fun!  :like:

Yes! Yes there are!

I won't be able to join untill I get back to all of my stuff after my camping trip.

Unless you consider an Opinel no2 a "decent" knife, then I've got all I need :D

Oh wait... it's summer...so where the smurf would I get gloves?! :bnghd:

I resorted to using Flickr which oddly seems to work far better than PB did, although I DO NOT like the Yahoo aspect - how many times now has Yahoo been hacked? I lost count.

Simple. You won't need to maintain a list of participants, just post one pic each in the following three categories:

Three in one picture.  :D

Now that´s a proper knife! Are you watching this, Mechanickal? If you want to post a pic of your #2 then you'd better find a very small pair of gloves to match!  :D

Only kidding, of course.

Sure is! I particularly liked 4everYoung´s socks and Kampfer´s gloves. The latter would land you in jail around these parts.

Kampfer's post is invalid (but a great pic!).

I think he's well aware of that and doesn't want to enter the draw as there's a big hole in the Rescue Tool's main blade and we all know how he feels about that.  :D

We're still waiting for Mechanickal, Kevin Davey and Outback in Idaho.

As we have three weeks to go that shouldn't pose any problems though.
