I figured an average of 10 pieces per 'segment', x3 for three segments, then guessed those ten pieces probably took up 200mm deep so x6 across the width of the trailer = 180 then -1 just in case the real answer was 181.  :P

I was close too. Just counted around 60 on the surface and multiplied x6 for depth. But there would be some smaller fillers inside the lot, that's reasonable.

I don't recall exactly how I determinded my guess.

I was going to say "100" but thought to myself that would be way to less given the fact I could almost see 100 pieces at the side.
I tried logic and calculations and eventualy said "let's just go for 400" and then I realised that the odds of a round number would be quite low.
The result shows here :D
