I have an Aitor or three floating around in my collection, and while I don't EDC them I do like them. It's been a while since I visited their site:http://www.aitor.com/ The distributors list page is under construction, and apparently you may soon be able to buy directly from them,in the meantime,a Google search or Ebay would be your best bet for getting one.
WHOA what is that blue one?Is there any complete guide to Aitor knives that lists what is currently manufactured/possibly with pictures.
What's that blue model with the serrated line cutter, Bob?
Looks like they sell an Aitor with that combo tool here.
Hm, the CatMan selling Aitor.....
Quote from: gafftapegreenia on November 01, 2008, 10:22:05 PMHm, the CatMan selling Aitor.....Let me tell you a fun story. During the 80's, Victorinox offered Aitor to distribute their products in Spain, but Aitor didn't accept. Then Victorinox approached Muela, the Aitor competitor in Spain, with the same proposal, and Muela accepted. Guess what? Aitor went to bankruptcy, while Muela got world wide distribution (at least in some countries, Victorinox dealers are also Muela dealers). At the end of 2006, Pielcu bougth the factory and the Aitor name, and resurrected the company. At the beginning of 2007, they were selling the old Aitor stock, and on the middle of the same year, they started producing the new line.Anyway, you can download the latest Aitor catalog (2007) here:http://www.aitor.com/Catalogo2007.pdfCarlos
