Before this argument discussion goes bad, I'd like to take it in a slightly different direction (but still calling upon the "fairness/reasonable" principle):How many on here have purchased an MT for much less than the "going rate" ? Commonly known as snapping up a bargain (in fact IIRC There is even a thread here on MTo dedicated to just such bargains). And if you have, did you volunteer to pay more to give the seller closer to what it was worth ?Over the years I have bought several such bargains on ebay, and have not paid the sellers any extra, as that is how a free market works - sellers can ask for as high as or as low a price as they deem appropriate, and it is up to the prospective buyer to choose whether to buy or not.Note that in my dealings with MTo members I do strive to be fair, and will offer more tools or a cash adjustment/higher price if I think it is needed to make the deal fair to both parties.

I always kind of dream of finding a Japanese PST in a pawn shop one day.
