What gear did Christmas bring you?

Any goodies come your way for the holiday??

For me so far, my first Wave, a NiteIze money clip card, fishing gear, some new winter gear, and a blowtorch among other things!

I got 2 CDs (P!nk: Beautiful Trauma, and Evanescence: Synthesis), a 175g Champion Valkyrie disc golf disc, and probably the only things folks on these boards might really be interested in, a BRS ultralight titanium hiking/backpacking stove.

That stove weighs under an ounce, and has great reviews on Amazon.

EDIT: Higgins... your first Wave?  :tu: I LOVE the Wave.

That BRS seems to be LOVED by the ultralight crowd, and was recommended by several of the youtube hiker folks as 'best gear under $X', kind of gear. Under $20 on Amazon.

The nearest thing to "gear" I've gotten is a Trangia Mini.  Not my pic but, in my defence, they do all look rather similar.  ;)

Nice stove, Lynn! Enjoy it on many hikes to come.

I have a classic Primus and a Coleman Peak1. They both work well. I've seen reviews and videos on your stove and it should perform quite nicely

The GF got me a replacement cell phone. It's a new old stock or refurb of a two or three year old model. I never go new on cell phones. It replaces my current phone, which still has a slide out physical keyboard. I've totally smashed the front glass and the only thing holding it together is the screen protector I put on It years ago.

Also some nice socks for hiking.

Santa was nice enough to bring me one of these little fellers:



I'll admit, a year ago I had no idea who Etekcity was and now I have two of their products.  Here is a link to the Etekcity Stove Megan bought last year.  It has a fair bit of mileage on it and it is still going strong.  In fact, it may even get used again today.

I also got a 1kg bag of Wine Gums (one of my all time favorite treats), a half pound Reese Peanut Butter cup (another favorite, although a half pound may be pushing it!  :ahhh), a sweater, a Kylo Ren electric toothbrush, a snow globe of a giant space slug trying to eat the Millenium Falcon and a toque with an LED headlamp built into it.

And, as a treat, I purchased a copy of Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds last night because it has always been one of my favorite games and I have no idea where the heck my original disks of it are.

I got a shiny new stainless steel insulated bubba mug and a CRKT Woods Nobo T-Hawk Tomahawk and some leather strap for me to use to tie some knot work on the handle...
