Just cleared a spot for it.
Ooooh good thinking!
I'll need to kick one from the cabinet here...

By the way, there are only a few SAKs shown, but they're all magnificent!

Also, Grant,

You shipped another package to me a few weeks ago using the paypal shipping label from my purchase of the PX.
Will you be able to reuse it?

I have zero use for shelf queens. All my stuff gets carried, most of my stuff gets tweaked or modded. So once I'm done there will be 101 max.

I have not fully decided on how the MTO PX will get modded... but I did buy it for parts.

The short list is:
1) swap can opener for electrician's blade => Electrician X (3 layers)
2) drop opener layer, swap awl for 91mm combo opener => 93mm voyageur. (2 layers)
3) as (2) but with added phillips and mag glass => 93mm alox yeoman (3 layers)
4) drop opener and scissor layers, swap awl for 91mm combo opener => 93mm alox bantam. (single layer)
5) Add 91mm plier, saw, metal file layers => 93mm handyman (6 layers)

I Dont have parts for all configurations yet, but I might have a go at pivot/screw modding it so I can switch things up.

Thanks! Sounds like interesting mods :tu:, I especially like the 6 layer idea...

I could imagine trying this on a stock Pioneer X first though.

I thnk mine should ship at least 2 days before any others.    Not realy send mine last, get every one else taken care of first.  :salute:
They are all the ones that made this such a great success.  :hatsoff:

I am going in the order they were purchased in, so yours is already done.  :D

And for those of you that made multiple purchases at different times, I went through the orders last week and combined them into one order, so yours will ship when your first order comes up on my list.  :D

I've had a lot of time to get ready for this order, and much of that effort doesn't seem to have been wasted!  :P

I said there were only going to be 100 of these knives made, but it seems Victorinox went above and beyond for us and they made/sent 102 knives.

Those two would be yours and Dougie's knives then !!   :tu:

I have been hoarding bubble wrap and packing paper for years to reuse in packages, and I am completely out.

With a dozen or so orders left, I called it quits for the day so that I could not only take the huge bag (Ikea Bag) and an even bigger box (about twice the size of the bag) to the PO before the last run was picked up for the day and to get more bubble wrap.

Megan will be so happy that all of the bubble wrap, packing paper etc that I have been hanging on to for years has finally all been used up.

Amusingly enough, Karma saved me at the PO today- after I unpacked the bag and box into the package pickup cart I put the box aside, planning to take it back out with me after buying bubble wrap, but the couple in front of me was having trouble figuring out how to send the jumble of stuff they had.  Being the nosey sort (and after I heard the Postmaster say he was out of large boxes) I butted in and said that if they needed a big box, they were welcome to the one I had and I pointed to the one I'd brought all of your packages in.  They were thrilled and took it to pack all of their things into.  After they were gone the Postmaster told me he was thinking the box I'd brought in would be pretty well perfect for them and so he was happy I offered.  As long as I am not taking a sale away from him, I am happy to help!

Then as he rung me up I realized that I'd forgotten my wallet and couldn't pay for the bubble wrap, but he told me to take it and pay him next time I was in, which will be tomorrow morning with the last dozen packages.

It's great when you go to the same place all the time and people know you, and also know you will always help when you can.  I appreciated it, because I really didn't want to have to go back there during rush hour!   :ahhh

True. Of course, Ottowa is only slightly larger, in terms of population, than my state, and we refer to ourselves as a "small town" with long driveways.
