Just found this peculiar. So thought I would share it.

Looks like a mod, I haven't ever heard of Victorinox using pins of such colour and they're all irregularly shaped, so most likely peened by hand.

I was a little suspicious because the shield looks like stainless suggesting that modern scales have been used on it.
