Yay! and Wow! Today's the day, finally! SpaceX is launching the Falcon Heavy booster for the first time (the first real-life test of the system) tonight and the payload is Elon Musk's personal Tesla with a destination to Mars orbit! You can watch the launch live here: http://www.spacex.com/webcast

Well, Elon Musk has haters and lovers, I respect every approach but all in all it is going to be an interesting event, that's for sure! Even Elon Musk said they have a 50-50 chance of managing this right :D

YES, it was a really exciting event. The view is iconic even now (the Starman sitting in front, the blue planet sliding away in the background). Sad to hear the center core did not make it but still...

The 2 boosters landing was really cool. Did the core crash? The camera suddenly went cloudy and they cut away from it

It’s not uncommon for that camera to cut out, but I think that in this case...
