I hope your arm improves fast Zoidberg.

How are you guys carrying your 110’s?

So far today I have tried it in the front pocket and back pocket, wich wasnt very comfy. Now Im carrying it in its pouch on my belt.

Happy Easter!

I am carrying my 110 in the denim pouch in the picture and it is carried vertically in the right side of my right rear pocket of my jeans.

I work part time in the restaurant below my apartment and a couple of times a week I sharpen the kitchen knives for them, so today I used my 110 to cut the flaps off of a box to collect the kitchen knives so I could sharpen them.

I use the small tapered diamond sharpener and the small steel for sharpening the pizza cutter.

For the plain edge knives I use the large diamond oval sharpener and the large steel and for the serrated knives I use the small tapered diamond sharpener and the small steel.

Day 1

Happy Easter!!!

I found a Remora Magazine pouch that 110 fits in nicely, and can ride in rear right Jean pocket.

Getting ready to assist the E bunny hiding eggs, 110 with ones not filled and returning to storage.

So, here it goes

DAY 1,
Happy Easter to you all! I am going to enjoy this knife from Nix, as a user and as a cherished gift as well. Since we have different needs and uses for our tools every day, I'll do as in other challenges and carry other gear to compliment the 110, which will be the cutter of coiche.

Since we don't want to twist, bend, snap, chip or break our beloved bucks I guess most of us will carry a SAK, multitool or both with us this April  :climber:

I will keep my EDC as usual, a knife (no OHO this time  :ahhh), a SAK, a MT, a light, a pen and a lighter
Soemthing like this will be my EDC for the month

the 110 will ride on its custom made (by Nix, master craftsman  8)) sheath and occasionally on a pouch like the one the Spirit rides in.
That one is handmade by jcs0001 for a tool he gifted me  :), that happens to be the perfect size for a 110, allowing a bit of purchase from the handle that sticks out  :tu:

Documenting the things I could (and couldn't) do with the classic, timeless design of the folding hunter,
reporting back on Day 2, and good luck to you all,

ThePeacent
My toys:

MTs: Surge (2x), Skeletool CX, Rebar, Blast, Fuse, Micra, Squirt (3x), Wave, Crunch, Mini, Spirit (2x), Pro Scout, MP700 (2x), Diesel, Powerlock, PowerPlier (2x), PocketPowerPlier, Blacktip , ST6 (2x), 5WR, A100

SAKs: Bantam, Executive, Ambassador, Minichamp, Classic Alox, Champion, Farmer, Explorer, Swisschamp, Golf Tool, Wenger Champ, EVO 52, Pocket Tool Chest

Check your messages...I just sent you my phone number to contact me when you come to town...I forgot to fill in the subject section on the message before I sent it.

PS  Go by the second message with the subject section filled in..I went dislexic on the first one and switched the numbers in my phone number

That is good, I will let you know when I do.

A few weeks ago I was there waiting for freight truck to deliver equipment.  I expect a couple of weeks worth of work.  7 lanes with 14 Loops minimum.

Great start guys!

LC, I have a mag pouch like that, I'll definitely give that a try. Great idea! (Don't know why I didn't think of that, I've carried 111mm SAK in one before.)

I'm especially enjoying zoidberg's 'Improvised 110' photos.

Day 1:
Pouch carry seems to be the best way to carry it so far.
The 110 has been used for some food prep, and some light whittling (the Mora whittler in the pic, is the one I usually use for that, but the 110 actually managed it surprisingly well) and some other light cutting tasks.

Nice pics and a great start to the challenge!

Getting ready to head out to have lunch with family and then work. The pocket clip mod worked out quite well, but the thumbstud needs a little tweaking (but it does work).

Day 1: clipped in and photo with early USA SOG PowerLock and 1988 Maglite gold mini 2xAAA.

Day 01:

Starting the challenge with a freshly honed blade. After stropping, the 110 is hair shaving sharp (hard to see the leg hair on the blade in the photo, but if you stop by the house today you can feel my clean and soft left leg.). It slices fine magazine paper like a lazer. I love the way the 110 sharpens up and slices.

For carry, I'm going with right front pants pocket in my homemade caddy. I've been carrying the 110 this way for about 3 hours and it works great. I can't say it 'disappears', but in no time it's dropped out of my consciousness. The caddy keeps the 110 upright, which is the key to pocket carry, I think.   I guess it also distributes the weight of the 110 a bit.
