What on earth is going on with this SAK?
on: April 14, 2018, 04:48:54 AM
Spotted a really unusual SAK on the Bay

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MYSTERY-VINTAGE-VICTORINOX-SAK-SWISS-ARMY-FOLDING-KNIFE-KNIVES-POCKET-OLD-TOOLS/312107192859?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20140106155344%26meid%3D5c4d6794ff4145e1a13247597c0b9b99%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D202284287540%26itm%3D312107192859&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

Originally a Huntsman?
Then looks like the openers have been chopped off and a paper clip thingy added
Then the saw has been converted to a hooky, pokey thing

Looks highly speSmurfpillsed for some task or other - Any idea what??

PS. I have bought from this seller before (Doodlefroodle) and always had a good experience!

That is a mystery, yet I only know one thing about that knife:  :D

I do hope you get some genuine replies.
It seems like I've seen something similar to that paper clip thing and I can't place it.
Oh, the Earth logic board is on Falcon Heavy in space now.

Definitely looks like a pre-91 SAK... have never seen the 2 new tools... could it be special tools to clean tobacco pipes?

For a few rupees, blokes in India will give your ears a good scrape and remove decades of ear wax - using such tools.
Probably

Clearly it's a bubble wand and bubble popper Vic produced to break in on Gerbers bubble tool market.

Maybe a lock rake and pick?

I would go with this, the "saw" certainly looks like it would make a good pick and the paper clip thing could be a rake, perhaps for a specific lock as there are only two tools but i would imagine one of them will be removable
Maybe someone made it because they locked themselves out their house one too many times, interesting indeed :tu:

Two bidders going crazy. That will do it every time.

I suspect it's a mod and have suspected that since I saw the original posting about it.
