Can anyone recommend this tool?  I need a decent MT for my bag, but I hate to impulse buy.  Seems like an incredible deal though, and my dog still needs to buy me a Christmas gift   high five  Amazon seems to have a killer tool/knife deal every other month or so.

The SwissTool RS is my favorite of the three SwissTool variants. Here's a look at all three:

That's a pretty good price, and you'd be hard pressed to get a better tool anywhere near that price.  The SwissTool is very highly respected, even by the few folks who don't care for it.

I'd grab it at that price...

SwissTools are simply amazing and many here swear by them.

The main issue will likely be whether you will find it too heavy for your preferences. It is a very solid and tough tool, which makes it fairly large and weighty.

Other than that, the only question is whether the RS is the right model for you. The main drawback to me is that it doesn't have a metal file. That may not be very important to you though.

If you are interested in this model though, I doubt you will be disappointed. SwissTools are really in a class by themselves!

I have it, and i've handeled the swisstool, and IMO the spirit is better for EDC and the swisstool is better when you KNOW you're going to be doing heavy duty work.
I'd go with the spirit, but either way you cant go wrong with Vic!

The SwissTools have a drop point blade, mate. You must be thinking of the LM Charge tools..
