Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a one hand opening folder with a non locking blade.
I know about the Spyderco line that offers that .
I think the Sanrenmu H02 might also fill the bill.
Are there others you would recommend or warn against ?
P.S. No need to convince me to drop the idea and stick with locking , I already have (too many   :D ) locking folders .

Have a look here: www.heinnie.com/knives-and-tools/folding-blade-knives/f/uk_friendly_carry/yes - plenty of options. :tu:  Many friction folders can be opened one-handed, so things like the Svord Peasant might suit.  Out of the knives at Heinnie, the one that I most fancy is the Viper Dan 2.  Looks like a great blade shape.

The One Arm Razor is a traditional blade shape designed after the Civil War for soldiers who'd lost an arm in battle. It can be hooked on almost anything (for me, it's the back seam of my front left pocket) and opened one handed. Only problem is that it does take practice--it took me about a week to learn how to one-hand open it after I was given the knife.

Here's a Boker I have, the 495 "One Arm Razor Barlow" from the 1980s.

Interesting suggestions.
On the Heinnie site there are hundreds that are UK friendly but most  are NOT OHO (One Hand Opening).
If anyone has other recommendations for non locking OHO please send along.
Thanks
Shalom

Well, yes.  There are a lot of knives on there and not all of them fit your requirements.  I could have picked out the OHO ones for you, but rather than spoon-feed I thought I'd point you to a source and let you do a bit of your own research.  I'm sure you can work out which ones ARE OHO. :)

I apologize if you were offended.  I meant no criticism. On the contrary, yours was the first and most informative reply.

Not offended, just a little prickly.  Sorry if I over reacted.  I hope you find something suitable.
